Description

These Bacon Cheeseburger Bites are a delicious, bite-sized appetizer combining juicy meatballs topped with melted American cheese, crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and cherry tomato halves. Perfect for parties or snack time, these easy-to-make bites deliver all the flavor of a classic cheeseburger in a convenient finger food format.

Ingredients

Scale

Meatballs

  • 18 Farm Rich meatballs (cooked according to the package directions)

Bacon

  • 5 strips of bacon (cooked until crisp then cut into at least 18 pieces)

Vegetables

  • 1-2 large leaves of iceberg lettuce (cut into 18 small pieces)
  • 9 cherry tomatoes (cut in half)

Cheese

  • 2 slices American cheese (cut into at least 18 small squares)

Other

  • Toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Meatballs and Cheese: Place a small square of American cheese on top of each cooked meatball. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the meatballs with cheese for 2-4 minutes until the cheese just begins to melt.
  2. Assemble the Bites: To create each Bacon Cheeseburger Bite, start with a cheese-topped meatball on the bottom. Then add one piece of crispy bacon, followed by a small piece of iceberg lettuce, and finish by topping with half a cherry tomato. Secure all the layers with a toothpick to hold each bite together.

Notes

  • Farm Rich meatballs are pre-cooked; ensure they are heated through according to package instructions before assembly.
  • Bacon should be cooked until crispy for the best texture contrast.
  • Use fresh iceberg lettuce leaves for crunch and freshness.
  • Serve these bites warm for optimal flavor and cheese texture.
  • These make great party appetizers or snack bites.
