Salad Ingredients
- 2 big ripe avocados, cut into quarters then sliced into 1 cm (0.4″) slices
- 3 cucumbers (~17 cm / 7″ long), sliced into 4 mm (1/6″) rounds
- 1/4 red onion, finely sliced
- 2 tbsp dill, finely chopped (optional, recommended)
- 2 tbsp coriander/cilantro leaves, roughly chopped (optional, recommended)
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tbsp lime juice, or lemon juice (or more, adjust to taste)
- 1/4 tsp chilli flakes / red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 3/4 tsp cooking / kosher salt
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: Place all salad ingredients, including avocado slices, cucumber rounds, red onion, dill, and coriander, into a large bowl. Drizzle the lime juice and extra virgin olive oil over the top, then sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and red chilli flakes.
- Toss Salad Gently: Using your hands, gently toss the salad to combine, carefully separating the avocado slices to maintain their shape. Taste the salad and add more lime juice if desired for extra freshness.
- Serve: Transfer the salad into a serving bowl and serve immediately to enjoy its fresh flavors and creamy texture.
