Ingredients
Scale
Ground Beef Mixture
- 1½ lbs ground beef
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Cooking
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Burger Sauce
- â…” cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 3 tbsp pickle juice
- ½ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
Salad and Toppings
- 8 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 1 pint grape tomatoes (halved)
- ½ red onion (thinly sliced)
- ½ cup dill pickle chips
- 3 cups frozen French fries or sweet potato fries (cooked until crispy)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Prepare the Ground Beef Mixture: In a bowl, combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to evenly distribute the seasonings throughout the meat.
- Cook the Ground Beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned ground beef and cook for several minutes, breaking it apart as it cooks, until the meat is fully cooked through and no longer pink.
- Make the Burger Sauce: In a small dish, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder until smooth and well combined.
- Assemble the Bowls: Divide chopped romaine lettuce evenly among four bowls as the base layer. Top each with equal portions of cooked ground beef, halved grape tomatoes, thinly sliced red onion, dill pickle chips, crispy French fries or sweet potato fries, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Finish and Serve: Drizzle the prepared burger sauce over the top of each bowl just before serving to add creamy tang and flavor.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner version.
- For a vegetarian option, replace the ground beef with a plant-based meat substitute.
- Use sweet potato fries for a slightly sweeter, nutrient-rich alternative.
- If preferred, the French fries can be baked or air-fried until crispy instead of deep-fried.
- Adjust the seasoning of the burger sauce to taste, adding more pickle juice for tang or more mustard for zest.
