Ingredients
Scale
Crescent Rolls
- 2 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
Filling
- 3 cups fully cooked shredded chicken
- 2 (10.5-ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 package ranch dressing mix
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat Oven and Prepare Dish: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Make the Sauce: In a medium pot over medium heat, combine the canned cream of chicken soup and cream cheese. Stir frequently until the cream cheese is melted and smoothly blended into the soup. Stir in the ranch dressing mix, then remove the pot from heat.
- Mix the Filling: Reserve one cup of the sauce for later. Transfer the remaining sauce to a medium mixing bowl. Add the shredded chicken and chopped green onions to the bowl, stirring thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
- Assemble Crescent Roll Packets: Separate the crescent roll dough into individual triangles. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture on the wide end of each crescent triangle. Fold the dough over the filling, wrapping it around to create a sealed little packet. Arrange each packet in the prepared baking dish.
- Add Sauce and Bake: Pour the reserved sauce evenly around the chicken packets inside the baking dish. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve Warm: Remove from oven and serve the chicken crescent rolls warm for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
- You can substitute rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Adding shredded cheese to the filling can enhance richness.
- Serve with a side salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
- Make sure to seal the crescent rolls tightly to prevent the filling from spilling out during baking.
