Ingredients
Scale
Base
- 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2 cups mayonnaise
Vegetables & Herbs
- 2 large cucumbers (peeled and chopped)
- 2 tsp fresh dill (chopped)
- 2 tsp dried minced onions
Flavorings
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tsp Sriracha sauce
- 2 tsp kosher salt
Instructions
- Prepare the cucumbers: Peel the cucumbers and chop them into small pieces. For a less watery dip, optionally squeeze out some excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
- Mix the base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth and creamy using a hand mixer or whisk.
- Add flavorings: Stir in the fresh dill, dried minced onions, lemon juice, Sriracha sauce, and kosher salt into the cream cheese mixture until evenly distributed.
- Combine cucumbers: Fold the chopped cucumbers gently into the mixture to maintain some crunch and texture.
- Chill and serve: Cover the dip and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve cold with chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
Notes
- For extra creaminess, ensure the cream cheese is fully softened before mixing.
- Adjust the amount of Sriracha for desired spiciness.
- To reduce wateriness, drain cucumbers or use seedless cucumbers.
- This dip can be prepared a day ahead and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- Great as a spread for sandwiches or wraps as well.
