Ingredients
Scale
Liquids and Dairy
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 1 2/3 cups Jameson Whiskey
Flavorings
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a blender, add the heavy whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate syrup, instant coffee granules, and vanilla extract. These ingredients create the creamy and flavorful base of the Irish cream.
- Pulse to Mix: Pulse the blender a few times just to mix these ingredients together evenly. Avoid pulsing too fast or for too long to maintain the desired texture and prevent over-aeration.
- Add Whiskey: Pour in the Jameson Whiskey and pulse the blender a few more times. This ensures the whiskey is well incorporated without curdling or separating the mixture.
- Store Properly: Transfer the finished Baileys Irish Cream to glass bottles with tight seals. Store the bottles in the refrigerator, where the liqueur will keep well chilled and fresh.
Notes
- Shake bottle well before each use as some settling may occur.
- Homemade Baileys will keep refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
- For a different flavor twist, try using flavored syrups or different brands of whiskey.
- Serve chilled or use in cocktails, coffee, or desserts.
- Ensure the glass bottles seal tightly to maintain freshness and prevent spillage.
