Potstickers
- 1 lb frozen potstickers or dumplings
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (divided)
Vegetables & Aromatics
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup snow peas
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
Sauce & Garnish
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Heat oil: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Cook potstickers: Add frozen potstickers to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until they are golden brown and crispy on all sides. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
- Prepare vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil.
- Sauté aromatics: Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Cook vegetables: Add sliced bell pepper, snow peas, broccoli florets, and julienned carrots to the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp, stirring occasionally.
- Make sauce: In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
- Combine ingredients: Return the potstickers to the skillet and pour the soy sauce mixture over the potstickers and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
- Garnish: Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top.
- Serve: Serve warm and enjoy your flavorful potsticker stir fry.
Notes
- Use a nonstick skillet to prevent sticking and ensure even browning of the potstickers.
- Adjust the amount of soy sauce to taste, especially if using low-sodium soy sauce.
- Feel free to substitute or add other vegetables such as mushrooms or snap peas.
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or drizzle with sriracha before serving.
- Make sure vegetables are cooked to a tender-crisp texture for the best texture contrast.
