Description

This Strawberry Jello Pie is a delightful, no-bake dessert featuring a buttery graham cracker crust filled with a smooth and creamy strawberry-flavored Jello and cream cheese filling. Topped with fresh strawberries and whipped topping, it’s a refreshing and easy-to-make treat perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Filling

  • 1 package (3 oz) strawberry Jello (or any flavor you prefer)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping (or homemade whipped cream)

Topping

  • Fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Extra whipped topping for garnish

Instructions

  1. Make the Crust: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until all the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
  2. Prepare the Strawberry Jello: In a medium bowl, dissolve the strawberry Jello in 1 cup of boiling water, stirring for about 2 minutes until fully dissolved. Add 1 cup of cold water, stir to combine, and allow the mixture to cool at room temperature for 20-30 minutes, until it thickens slightly but remains pourable.
  3. Prepare the Filling: In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the cooled Jello mixture to the cream cheese, mixing until fully combined and smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping, taking care not to deflate it.
  4. Assemble the Pie: Pour the strawberry Jello filling into the cooled graham cracker crust and smooth the top with a spatula. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until the filling is set and firm.
  5. Serve: Before serving, garnish the pie with fresh strawberry slices and extra whipped topping if desired. Slice and enjoy your creamy, refreshing strawberry Jello pie!

Notes

  • Be sure to let the Jello mixture cool and thicken slightly before mixing with cream cheese to avoid lumps.
  • Use room temperature cream cheese for a smooth filling.
  • Chilling the pie for at least 4 hours is essential for proper setting of the Jello filling.
  • For a different flavor, swap strawberry Jello with your preferred Jello flavor.
  • Homemade whipped cream can be used as a substitute for store-bought whipped topping for a fresher taste.
