Description

These Tropical Energy Bites are a delightful, no-bake snack perfect for a quick energy boost. Combining wholesome oats, raw cashews, sweet dates, and unsweetened coconut flakes with a burst of tangy Tangerine Omega Pals, they offer a nutritious treat that’s easy to make and kid-friendly. Ideal for packing in lunchboxes or enjoying as a healthy snack any time of day.

Ingredients

Scale

Energy Bite Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats (quick or old fashioned)
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 1/2 cup dates
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 3 tablespoons Tangerine Omega Pals*

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Add oats, raw cashews, dates, unsweetened coconut flakes, and Tangerine Omega Pals to a food processor to prepare for blending.
  2. Process Mixture: Pulse the ingredients until they are finely chopped and start to stick together, forming a cohesive ball-like mixture.
  3. Form Energy Bites: Using a tablespoon, scoop out the mixture and transfer it to your palm. Roll it into a bite-sized ball. Place each energy bite into a container and continue with the remaining mixture until all are formed.
  4. Store Properly: Store the energy bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator to keep them fresh. For children, a proper serving is approximately 2.5 energy bites per day.

Notes

  • Use quick or old fashioned oats as preferred; both work well.
  • Ensure dates are pitted before adding to the processor.
  • Tangerine Omega Pals adds a citrusy flavor and nutritional boost; substitute with other fruit-flavored omega supplements if unavailable.
  • Keep the mixture slightly sticky to help the energy bites hold their shape.
  • Store the bites in the fridge for up to 1 week for best freshness.
